Dragon
Guide
you earn EXP for your Dragon, and as your Dragon increases in level more Dragon Skills will be made available and more Slots to which you can assign Dragon Skills will be unlocked. By assigning
Dragon Skills to the Slots you will get boosts for certain activities. Upgrading and Enhancing Dragon Skills make them stronger.
There are four categories, Attack, Defense, Gathering and Monster, for which you can Assign Dragon Skills. Dragon Skills Assigned to a certain category will only benefit when your Dragon is used
for that activity.
Assigning Dragon Skills
If
you want to assign a Dragon Skill to one of the available Slots, go to the Dragon Lair Building (in between the Stronghold and the Event Center). Select the Dragon Lair and select Dragon Skills.
Click on the Assign Skills button.
Click on the "Assign Skills" button. Now you are in the Assign Skills window.
Here you can select one of the four
Categories via the tabs at the top, next you select a skill, and it will be assigned to one of the open Slots. If you want to remove an assigned Dragon Skill, select it from the Assigned Slots
and click Remove.
Note: that some of the Dragon Skills can be
assigned to more than one category. E.g. Beast of Burden (increasing the resources your troops can carry), can be used both for the Attack and Gathering category.
For the
locked slots the number on the slot indicated the Dragon Level you should achieve before it is unlocked.
Dragon Emblems
Emblems can be seen as Gemstones for the Dragon Skills. These Emblems provide your Dragon Spirit Skills with extra combat boosts.
Note: that these slots are not linked to Dragon Skills, but Dragon Skill Slots, so once you have assigned an emblem to the first Attack Dragon Skill Slot, it also is effective for the first Defense, Monster and Gather Dragon Skill.
Type on the little "+" under your skill.
Now it'll show you all emblems which can be embedded into the specific slot. Choose the one you would like to use and then type on "embed".
Enhancing Emblems
In the Emblem Armory you see an overview of all your Emblems and you can Enhance your Emblem to the next level.
You are able to access it by typing on "Emblem Armory" top right.
To enhance an Emblem you need items which you can only acquire by converting other Emblems in the special Emblem Armory Crucible. This can be done by clicking the "+" button next the credit amount top left, or the "Get More" button next to the required item amount at the left bottom.
Acquiring Emblems
You are able to get Emblems via the Undead Trader. You can only purchase one of each of the complete Bright Emblems every 7 days, one of
each of the complete Brilliant Emblems every 21 days, and a set of 9 Raw Radiant Emblem Fragments every 2 days.
Change
Class
As you see in the first picture you are able
to change class. This is a really good feature as you are able to upgrade the Assault section and the Guardian section to the max.
note:
you are only able to Change Class
if your airship is in your City!!
Type on "Change Class", here you are easily able to switch between the classes, every class got different Buffs, the Dragon Bonuses also require a specific amount of Assault or Guardian
Components to unlock higher bonuses.
When
your Dragon levels up, the class will be changed automatically if the requirements are not met anymore.
so
you don't need to reset your skills to optimize them, you just need to change the class!!
Upgrading
Dragon Skills
Dragon
Skills can be Enhanced and Upgraded, both improving the effect of the Dragon Skill.
If
you go to the Dragon Skills menu in the Dragon Lair, you see an overview of all your Dragon Skills separated in two categories, Assault and Guardian. The Assault Dragon Skills are more related to
Attack, while the Guardian Dragon Skills are more related to Defence and Gathering.
When you select one of the Dragon Skills you will open a detail window showing information about the current rank and what is required to upgrade.
If you are no longer using a Dragon Skill you have used you can use the "Reset Ability" button to reset it and get the Assault or Guardian Components back, but this costs a Dragon Skill Reset item (in the Alliance store you can purchase both reset items for one Airship Ability and for all Airhsip Abilities, sometimes you are able to find them at the Marketplace).
How
do I get the Components?
You
get them while gathering resources (Guardian) and Attacking Beasts (Assault).
Enhancing
Dragon Skills
Dragon
Skills can be Enhanced and Upgraded, both improving the effect of the Dragon Skill. If you go to the Dragon Lair you can select the Enhance Skills menu, which will lead you to the Enhance Skills
window.
You can switch between Assault and Guardian Skills, select the Skill you want to enhance and then type on "Enhance" to upgrade the Skills to the next level.
To
Enhance Dragon Skills you need Intensity Crystal, and unlike the Assault and Guardian points you need for upgrading Dragon Skills, the Intensity Crystals are hard to get. You are able to get them
from event rewards, and IV shows up quite regularly as an option in Market Place for either wood or gold. However, since you need 10 Intensity Crystals for each star (you need 10 x Intensity
Crystal (I) to Enhance a Dragon Skill to 1 star, 10 x Intensity Crystals (II) to Enhance a Dragon Skill to 2 stars, and so on). You can Synthesize 8 Intensity Crystals to one of one level higher
in your Items.
If you are no longer using a Dragon Skill you have used you can use the Reset button to reset it and get the Intensity Crystal back!!
Using your Dragon
The
boosts will only apply if you use your Dragon for the activity. So if you have equipped skills to improve your gathering speed, these only benefit the march the Dragon joins. If your base is
attacked and your dragon is out on a march, your base will not benefit from the Dragon defense boosts.
Dragon
Details
When you click on the Dragon Details in the Dragon Liar you can see information about your Dragon and Dragon Skills, including the type of Dragon.
If
you use the Dragon for both attacking and gathering you might prefer a balanced Dragon, which has as effect that the amount of Assault and Guardian Components obtained from each activity are
increased. If you focus purely on using your Dragon for either Guardian (Gathering) or Assault (attacking players and beasts) activities you can specialize your Dragon in one of those areas. In
this case for Guardian you can increase your Gathering speed, for Assault you can get Attack, Defense and Health boosts for all troop types. Where your Dragon is on the balance is influenced by
the assigned Guardian and Assault Components, not by doing the activities itself, which makes it relatively easy to switch the focus of your Dragon by using the Change Class
option.
Tipp: pay attention to your items to see if you
have Dragon EXP items. Once your Dragon upgrades a level pay attention to whether new interesting Dragon Skills have become available and/or new Slots have opened up. Also regularly check if you
have enough Assault or Guardian Power Points to upgrade your favorite Dragon Skills further.
How do I use the flame
scroll?
You
need to have dragon level 11. Go to your Dragon Lair then tap Dragon Skills. Scroll to the bottom of your Assault skills and tap the skill and unlock it with the scroll.
The Newer Dragon Skills
There
are 4 new dragon skills, two for guardian and two for assault,
Rain
of Fire-
increases the intensity of your dragons fire, directly reducing enemy troop power. It takes a rain of fire scroll and 500 dragon pendants, to unlock this skill your dragon must be lvl 22. Also
this is the only skill that needs Dragon pendant to upgrade.
BLOODTHIRST-
increases the attack of all troops, you need a lvl 60 dragon to unlock the skill and a BLOODTHIRST scroll.
DOUBLE
BOUNTY-
offers the chance of double rewards when killing monsters, you need to have a lvl 60 dragon to unlock the skill and a double Bounty scroll.
SACRED
SHIELD-
increases the defense of all troops, you need to have a lvl 59 dragon and a sacred shield scroll to unlock it.
How it ties Together
By gathering Dragon fossils in the fire land which will earn you points on the reward rankings after the one hour round, the rewards that you can win will consist of dragon pendants and Advanced
skill fragment chest. In these chest you will get the scroll fragments for making the 4 types of scrolls needed to unlock each of the new dragon skills, it takes 500 of each scroll fragment to
make the scroll to unlock the new skills!
Dragon Shadow
Go to your Dragon Lair and type on "Dragon Shadow"
You can summon Dragon Shadows for a limited time by using a Dragon Shadow Scroll. The more Scrolls you have, the longer you can summon one for.
Type on "summon shadow"
Once you've summoned a Dragon Shadow, it can provide your Dragon's benefits for up to four of your marches that your Dragon is not accompanying.
The Dragon Shadow provides all the benefits of your Dragon. The Troops won't benefit of it if they are outside your city when you summon a Dragon Shadow, so make sure you got your troops in town :D
Once the Dragon Shadow's summon period is over, your Troops will lose its benefits.
